In order to improve sight distance and safety, a portion of Janesville Avenue in Fort Atkinson (STH 26) was realigned.

Reconstruction of Rural Section to Urban Section

Foth managed and designed this project which followed Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) procedures and format. The reconstruction of 0.65 miles of urban roadway included realigning and widening the existing two-lane roadway to four lanes, adding curb and gutter and storm sewers, developing a detour route, and coordinating closely with both the City of Fort Atkinson and WisDOT.
