Foth Hosts Kewaunee (WI) Harbor Groundbreaking Ceremony

Foth, along with Mayor Sandi Christman from the city of Kewaunee (WI), hosted a ceremonial groundbreaking Friday, January 29 to kick-off the Kewaunee Harbor restoration project.  Earlier this year Foth was selected by the city of Kewaunee to lead the engineering components of the project.

Funded largely by a $4.2 million WisDOT Harbor Assistance Program (HAP) grant, the project includes three major components:

  • Replacing the dock wall
  • Making improvements to Harbor Park, including walkways and lighting; parking in and around the park; access to the water, and docking facilities
  • Exterior restoration of the Kewaunee lighthouse

Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, Senator Frank Lasee, Representative Joel Kitchens, and Foth CEO Randy Homel spoke at the ceremony. “Foth is looking forward to partnering with the city of Kewaunee to build their future,” said Homel. “Once restored, Harbor Park is likely to attract more tourists and be a great source of pride for area residents.”
