Foth Acquires Assets of Massachusetts-Based CLE Engineering, Inc.

Green Bay, WI — The Foth Companies (Foth), a science and engineering consulting firm based in Green Bay, WI announced it has acquired the assets of CLE Engineering, Inc., an engineering consulting firm headquartered in Marion, MA and with offices in Novato, CA; and San Diego, CA.

“We are excited about the expanded business opportunities this acquisition represents, for clients and employees of both firms,” said Foth CEO Randy Homel.  “Foth has an outstanding reputation for serving a broad range of clients.  CLE’s waterfront and coastal engineering expertise will strengthen our capabilities.  Their east and west coast presence will broaden our geographic footprint, allowing us to better meet the diverse needs of clients across the country.”

CLE Engineering’s President Susan Nilson is pleased that the asset acquisition will benefit existing clients by providing more services and resources.  “Joining Foth will allow us to undertake larger and more complex projects due to our broader range of technical expertise and project management capability. We are also looking forward to the growth opportunities the acquisition will afford our employees.”

Homel said Foth and CLE share a philosophy of client-focused service.  “The key clients from both firms are telling us we’re doing a great job, and they need more of what we provide.  This asset acquisition can address many of these requests.” Homel said.
