Food Equipment Relocation

Background

A major food manufacturer acquired the product of another company and needed to relocate the production equipment out of the sellers Facility.  Existing personnel at both facilities lacked the capacity to execute the project as agreed upon per their contract.

Approach

Foth was requested to take on the project “turnkey”, including as-builting the equipment prior to removal, wall demolition, equipment disconnect & removal, skidding & crating, trucking & offloading.  The demolition and equipment removal was coordinated around production using temporary walls and weekend, off shift scheduling.

Results

Foth was able to safely remove the client’s equipment in a timely manner without impacting the seller’s production schedule.
