Brewery Cellar Replacement and Automation

Brewery Cellar Replacement and Automation

Background

Our client was experiencing quality and sanitation issues related to one of their existing cellars. They had completed a preliminary design to address the issues, but could not move ahead due to the high budgetary cost. Foth stepped in to review the preliminary design and offer value engineering and cost savings to move the project forward.

Approach

Foth was awarded the entire project design-build. We provided a value engineered solution, complete engineering, design, and installation for the site and facility addition to house the new cellar. The scope included a new building, extensive piping, new tanks, pumps, valves matrices, and a new CIP System. A re-control of this part of the process helped reduce manual processes and migrate into their standard control platform. A combination of Foth onsite and remote start-up support during the pandemic was made possible by the team of Foth and the Brewery to achieve project success.

Results

Working closely with our client, Foth was able to deliver the value engineering and cost savings associated to drive this project to completion. Foth’s close attention to scope and cost throughout the life cycle of the project helped our client achieve their quality and sanitation goals.
