Prepared Food Meat Facility Expansion to Support Scalable RTE Production

Background

King’s Command Foods, a producer of prepared and ready‑to‑eat meat products, needed to increase production capacity to meet growing customer demand. To support this growth while maintaining product quality and food safety compliance, the company initiated an expansion at its current location.

The expansion required careful planning to accommodate increased throughput, improve process flow, and support regulatory requirements specific to prepared foods and RTE environments. Maintaining ongoing production during construction was also a key consideration throughout the project.

Approach

Our team supported the prepared foods meat facility expansion through integrated facility planning, facility design, and construction services. Early project efforts focused on understanding existing production constraints and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, workflow separation, and sanitary design.

The expansion was designed to support increased production capacity while enhancing operational flow and maintaining strict controls between processing areas. Construction activities were phased to minimize disruptions and allow production to continue safely throughout the project.

Results

The completed expansion increased King’s Command Foods’ production capacity and improved overall operational efficiency while meeting regulatory and food safety requirements. The company is also now able to adapt to changing consumer demands.
