Egg Processing Facility Relocation and Renovation to Support Operational Growth

Background

Perham Egg, a producer of liquid egg products, needed to relocate its processing operations to support growth, improve operational efficiency, and meet evolving regulatory and food safety requirements.  The new facility needed to accommodate liquid egg processing equipment in an efficient layout that allowed for future build-outCoordination of moving production from one facility to another was key priorities throughout the project.

Approach

Our team supported the egg processing facility relocation through integrated facility planning, facility design, and construction services. Early project efforts focused on evaluating operational needs and developing a layout that improved process flow, waste handling, and overall efficiency in the new location.

The facility was designed to support liquid egg processing operations with upgraded utilities, improved equipment layout, and enhanced food safety controls. Coordination and sequencing were critical to ensure a smooth transition from the existing facility to the new location while maintaining continuous production. As Bernie Coyle, Vice President of Manufacturing for North Central Equity, noted, “They have a get it done attitude. They’ll do whatever it takes.”

Results

The completed egg processing facility relocation provided Perham Egg with a modernized production environment designed to support increased capacity, improved efficiency, and enhanced food safety. The new facility streamlined processing and positioned the company for long‑term growth.

By delivering a thoughtfully planned relocation, we created a scalable foundation that supported evolving market demands while maintaining the quality of Perham Egg’s liquid egg products.
